Campaign Success Stories 

Since 2020 Suffolk County Council has been giving supermarket voucher grants out to families with children during school holidays who receive free school meals. At REACH, we saw the real benefit of these vouchers to families we support. This provision was due to end in September 2022 and earlier this summer we shared our APPG report findings with the council, which highlighted the effectiveness of these vouchers.
 
On the first of October, the council announced they would be extending school holiday supermarket vouchers for children eligible for free school meals to March 2023. Which is fantastic and we are so grateful for the council's decision to extend this vital support to families which will be beneficial as we progress through the cost of living crisis.
